While they celebrated Bob's 30th Anniversary in 1992 one of the performers, maybe it was George Harrison, Kris Kristofferson or Johnny Cash, told about Bob as man who wrote more than 600 songs in his career.
Now, another 30 Years has gone by and I wondered if Bob is ready with his 1000th song, or if he'll be prepared for?
What if not ?
Nothing, he's still be a genius !
Latest news I've had heard about him is that he made a deal with Paramount or Sony instead of Columbia for the whole song license bundle of musical heritage.
Did anyone of you have had heard about the amount of this deal...... hmmmm....I'll try my best to find it out.
See you

Here is a bag of words I want use in my newest song. I did not finisehd it up to now, but I love thes words i used:
Brain, to, water, plants, dance, I, border, can, flower, in, leads, pain, if, on, feel, due, trough.
Sure, not a lot of words, but in the right sequence these words got the potential for a gret new song.

As a citizen of the earth born under the sign of Gemini, it can happen, as happened here, that I post the same song twice.

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the light surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
And may you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
I choosed this song in case of fact that this was the first Dylan-Song I saw Bob Dylan in a act.
Maybe I know him before, near everyone know about "Blowin In The Wind" or "Al Along the Watchtower" but I wasn't interested in to hear this.
But in 2005 my fried Diary of Dreams gifted me a DVD-Copy of this legendary Martin Scorceese Music-Film "The last Waltz" where many of the most famous folk- and country musicans give their tribute to the BAND's final concert in Winterland Ballroom / San Francisco in 1976.
Bob wears a white hat with a red feather in it's brim and I never saw an actor with such a self-confidence, and what should I say ..... I don't like Mr Dylan , because he looked very arrogant to me.
But in August 2009 while I stayed at Cape Frehel / France and smoked some joint I've heard "Just Like A Woman" on my cars cd-player first time, and I don't lie if I swear that I pushed the repeat button at least 20 times on this day.
Since than it was done to me and I was a fan.
To his 80th birthday I wish him all my best, and may he stay forever young.

Alles Gute zum 80ten.
You walk into the room with your pencil in your hand
You see somebody naked and you say, "Who is that man?"
You try so hard but you don't understand
Just what you will say when you get home
Because something is happening here but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
You raise up your head and you ask, "Is this where it is?"And somebody points to you and says, "It's his"
And you say, "What's mine?" and somebody else says, "Well, what is?"
And you say, "Oh my God, am I here all alone?"
But something is happening and you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
You hand in your ticket and you go watch the geek
Who immediately walks up to you when he hears you speak
And says, "How does it feel to be such a freak?"
And you say, "Impossible!" as he hands you a bone
And something is happening here but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
You have many contacts among the lumberjacksTo get you facts when someone attacks your imagination
But nobody has any respect, anyway they already expect you to all give a check
To tax-deductible charity organizations
Ah, you've been with the professors and they've all liked your looksWith great lawyers you have discussed lepers and crooks
You've been through all of F. Scott Fitzgerald's books
You're very well-read, it's well-known
But something is happening here and you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
Well, the sword swallower, he comes up to you and then he kneelsHe crosses himself and then he clicks his high heels
And without further notice, he asks you how it feels
And he says, "Here is your throat back, thanks for the loan"
And you know something is happening but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
Now, you see this one-eyed midget shouting the word "Now"And you say, "For what reason?" and he says, "How"
And you say, "What does this mean?" and he screams back, "You're a cow!
Give me some milk or else go home"
And you know something's happening but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
Well, you walk into the room like a camel, and then you frownYou put your eyes in your pocket and your nose on the ground
There ought to be a law against you comin' around
You should be made to wear earphones
'Cause something is happening and you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

Oh, the ragman draws circles
Up and down the block
I'd ask him what the matter was
But I know that he don't talk
And the ladies treat me kindly
And they furnish me with tape
But deep inside my heart
I know I can't escape
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Well, Shakespeare, he's in the alley
With his pointed shoes and his bells
Speaking to some French girl
Who says, she knows me well
And I would send a message
To find out if she's talked
But the post office has been stolen
And the mailbox is locked
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Mona tried to tell me
To stay away from the train line
She said that all the railroad men
Just drink up your blood like wine
An' I said, "Oh, I didn't know that
But then again there's only one I've met
An' he just smoked my eyelids
And punched my cigarette"
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Grandpa died last week
And now he's buried in the rocks
But everybody still talks about
How badly they were shocked
But me, I expected it to happen
I knew he'd lost control
When I speed built a fire on Main Street
And shot it full of holes
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Now, the senator came down here
Showing everyone his gun
Handing out free tickets
To the wedding of his son
An' me, I nearly got busted
An' wouldn't it be my luck
To get caught without a ticket
And be discovered beneath a truck?
Oh, Mama, is this really the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Now the T-Preacher looked so baffled
When I asked him why he dressed
With twenty pounds of headlines
Stapled to his chest
But he cursed me when I proved to him
Then I whispered and said, "Not even you can hide
You see, you're just like me
I hope you're satisfied"
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Now, the rainman gave me two cures
Then he said, "Jump right in"
The one was Texas medicine
The other was just railroad gin
An' like a fool I mixed them
An' it strangled up my mind
An' now people just get uglier
An' I have no sense of time
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
When Ruthie says, "Come see her
In her honky-tonk lagoon
Where I can watch her waltz for free
'Neath her Panamanian moon"
An' I say, "Aw, come on, now
You know you know about my debutante"
An' she says, "Your debutante just knows what you need
But I know what you want"
Oh, Mama, can this really be the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?
Now, the bricks lay on Grand Street
Where the neon madmen climb
They all fall there so perfectly
It all seems so well timed
An' here I sit so patiently
Waiting to find out what price
You have to pay to get out of
Going through all these things twice
Oh, Mama, is this really the endTo be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again?

Oh my name it ain't nothin'
My age it means less
The country I come from
Is called the Midwest
I was taught and brought up there
The laws to abide
And that land that I live in
Has God on its side
Oh, the history books tell it
They tell it so well
The cavalries charged
The Indians fell
The cavalries charged
The Indians died
Oh, the country was young
With God on its side
The Spanish-American
War had its day
And the Civil War, too
Was soon laid away
And the names of the heroes
I was made to memorize
With guns in their hands
And God on their side
The First World War, boys
It came and it went
The reason for fighting
I never did get
But I learned to accept it
Accept it with pride
For you don't count the dead
When God's on your side
The Second World War
Came to an end
We forgave the Germans
And then we were friends
Though they murdered six million
In the ovens they fried
The Germans now, too
Have God on their side
I've learned to hate the Russians
All through my whole life
If another war comes
It's them we must fight
To hate them and fear them
To run and to hide
And accept it all bravely
With God on my side
But now we got weapons
Of chemical dust
If fire them, we're forced to
Then fire, them we must
One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
And you never ask questions
When God's on your side
Through many a dark hour
I've been thinkin' about this
That Jesus Christ was
Betrayed by a kiss
But I can't think for you
You'll have to decide
Whether Judas Iscariot
Had God on his side.
So now as I'm leavin'
I'm weary as Hell
The confusion I'm feelin'
Ain't no tongue can tell
The words fill my head
And fall to the floor
That if God's on our side
He'll stop the next war.
